The artists of XOXO have been creating wildly original works of theatre and performance in Charlotte for 15 years.
Many of us have also been pursuing visual art practices during that time and we are pleased to share a small sampling of the work created by some of those members of our ensemble.
Collected here we have the raw power and expressive intensity of Jon Prichard’s electric mythology, Lauren McDowell’s off kilter and achingly familiar photographic work, the bold pictographic fantasy of Jelly Clarckson, the sacrilegious geometries of Will Rudolph and the violent expressionism of Matt Cosper’s wards, petitions and sigils.
DEPTH OF FIELD will be up at Tip Top Daily Market (2902 The Plaza)
July-September with an opening celebration on July 12th from 7-9pm
